Is this camp open to families from anywhere in the world?

Yes — this camp welcomes families from anywhere in the world. As long as your child has a valid passport and meets the age requirement, they are welcome. We provide visa support letters for families who need them.
Is this camp safe for my child?

Absolutely. Your child will have 24/7 adult supervision from the Rooted Journeys team. Accommodations are in supervised student residences with same-gender shared rooms. All transportation is private and organised.
What ages are eligible for this camp?

This camp is designed for children and teens aged 11–17. All campers must be comfortable in a supervised group setting and ready for an international sleepaway experience.
My child has never been to sleepaway camp. Can they still attend?

Absolutely! Many of our campers are first-time sleepaway and first-time international travellers. Every programme includes 24-hour supervision, structured schedules, full pre-departure guidance, and caring support from chaperones.
Do I need a visa to send my child to France?

Visa requirements depend on your country. Many nationalities — including US, UK, Canada, and most Caribbean countries — do not need a visa for France for short stays. We provide official visa support letters for families who need them.
What's NOT included in the camp fee?

Visa fees (support letters provided), international flights to/from France (unless selecting flight-inclusive package), travel insurance (highly recommended), and personal spending money for souvenirs and snacks.
What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund. Beyond that, all payments become final due to vendor commitments. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Full policy available at Rooted Journeys website.
How do I book? Is there a payment plan?

Yes — flexible payment plans are available! You secure your child's spot with a low deposit, then make monthly payments until camp. Request the full details above and our team will walk you through everything.
Are flights included in the camp fee?

International flights to/from France are not included unless you select the flight-inclusive package. You arrange your own flights to Paris CDG or Nice NCE. All internal transfers between Paris and Nice are fully included.
